Hello Everyone!
My card today was inspired by a card done by Deb over on startascrapbook.com.
You can see Deb's card here www.startascrapbook.com/community/showthread.php?24746-2015-Challenge-2/page2
I used a piece of paper that had just the black outline of the daisies.  I cut it out and adhered it to a piece of Colorbok Pearlescent Paper that was sold in a pad of 20 sheets at Ross for $3.99.  Then I ran it through my Cuttlebug using a Spellbinders embossing folder.  I looks like branches.  The folder did not go the full length of the card stock so I used a different folder and embossed a small portion of it on the bottom.  After that is was a matter of "gilding the lilly".  I used a canary Duo Daubber to color the centers of the flowers.  I punched out an oval from the Colorbok paper and a label from an EK Success punch.  I added Stickles to the flower centers, inked the edges of the white label, and added pearls to the sentement.  I used a white heavy weight cardstock for the card base and a piece of yellow to layer it.
I like the way it turned out.  Thanks for stopping by.
Bye for now.

Hello everyone!
Just made this card.  I saw a video on You-Tube for making the diamond patterned background and wanted to give it a try.  I have had my crimper for years but almost never use it.
The card base is a pearlescent white, the poppy card stock is DCWV, the patterned paper is from Me & My Big Ideas,(2008).  The ribbon, flowers and pearls came from my stash.

This also gives me a chance to post to their color challenge #273 over at www.colourq.blogspot.com.

Thanks for stopping by.

Bye for now.  Hope you stop by again soon.

New Year and New Posts

Hello everyone!
It is a new year and I am back.  It has been 2 and a half years since I last posted and a lot has happened in the time.  I have had some health battles but everything is improving on that front.
My physical therapist says I need to use my hands to get back to normal.  I started creating some projects before Christmas and I have been participating in some challenges over at www.startascrapbook.com for New Years.
My goal is to post several times a week.  I have been collecting ideas from Pinterest that I want to try
and share with all of you.  I hope you will bear with me as I travel down this road I call my life.

The first picture is of some box cards that I saw a tutorial for on You-Tube.  Each card has Christmas Gift Tags in it.  The next picture is of some Gift Card Books that I mad for Christmas.
                                                                        Bye for now!
