Hello everyone!
Today's card is this pretty hydrangea card.
Hydrangea is the favorite flower of my friend JoAnn.
I custom colored the paper I used for the blossoms.
I used watercolor paper and did direct-to-paper
inking on the entire sheet of paper.
Then I sprayed the entire sheet of paper with water and left it
to dry.  When it was dry I punched a boat load of flowers
from the water color paper.  I formed each one using
a mouse pad and a stylus.  I used several circles of scrap card stock
layer with foam tape to add dimension to the head of the flowers
and then proceeded cover them with the flowers.
After all of the flowers were in place and dry I added a liquid pearl
dot to the center of each flower. The purple border was
punch using the Iron Rail set from Martha Stewart.

Tjhanks for stopping by.  I appreciate the time you spend with kme

Hello Everyone!  It's been a busy few days around here.
Today's card is for the ISSC14 challenge.
In an effort to streamline some of my card making I
cut a lot of cardstock and patterned paper that was
all in very primary colors.  I love the impact of
red, white, and blue.  The ribbons on the side of
the sketch reminded me of a technique I had
recently seen on StampTV using ribbon scraps.
Father's Day is just around the corner and these colors always
make me think of our service men & women.
I used a Martha Stewart border punch to create the edge
As always, thanks for stopping by.
Hugs,
Gail

Hello everyone!
Today's card is for the
I used the Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page
to do the border on the top square.
I used 2 Spellbinders Dies to cut the window.
The scalloped panel at the bottom was cut
with a LifeStyle Crafts die.  The floral spray was
created using a variety of floral punches and leaf punches.
The butterfly is from a Sizzix Die.  I used a stylus and an embossing
folder to create the texture on the butterfly.  I colored
the antennae with a black Sharpie.  I added a girlie touch
with some half pearls and a sweet little bow from some bow
from my stash.
I am so glad that you stopped by.
Hugs, Gail

Hello everyone!
Today's post is this sweet little "Thank You!"
Sticky Note Pad that closes to carry in your purse.
I can see these done in a variety of colors and
used as favors for a variety of occasions.
The dimensions for this one are: a 3 x 3 sticky
pad will fit into the center.  The celery card stock
is cut to 3" x 7 3/4".
It is then scored at 3", 3 1/2", 6 1/2", and 7".
After printing the cream cardstock it was cut in 2 1/2"
squares.  I ran the cardstock through my Cuttlebug
using the top right hand corner of the Bird Call
embossing folder by Cuttlebug.
The flower is stitched on using crochet cotton.
I appreciate your coming by to check out
what I am up to.
Hugs, Gail
